How do I create a child account?

After signing in as a parent, tap "Add Child" on your dashboard. Enter your child's name and a profile picture (optional). The app will generate a unique 6-character login code that your child can use to access their account.

How do I assign tasks to my children?

Tap "Add Task" on your dashboard, fill in the task details (title, description, points, due date), and select which child should complete it. You can assign the same task to multiple children if needed.

What happens when my child completes a task?

When a child marks a task as complete, they earn points, and you'll receive a notification. The child may also earn achievement badges based on their progress. Both you and your child will see the updated progress on your dashboards.

How does the Focus Timer work?

The Focus Timer uses the Pomodoro technique with work and break periods. Children can start a timer for any task, and the app will help them stay focused with fun animations and visual feedback.

Can I use KidFocus offline?

Yes! KidFocus works offline. Your data will sync automatically when you reconnect to the internet. Tasks, progress, and rewards are all available offline.

How do I delete my account?

Go to Settings in the app, tap "Delete Account," and confirm. This will permanently delete all your data, including tasks, progress, and child profiles. This action cannot be undone.

Is my data secure?

Yes! All data is stored securely using Apple's CloudKit service with enterprise-grade encryption. We don't share your data with third parties, and we comply with COPPA regulations for children's privacy.

How do I manage my subscription?

Subscriptions are managed through your Apple ID in the App Store settings. You can view, modify, or cancel your subscription at any time through your device's Settings app under your Apple ID.

Sign In: Open the app and sign in with your Apple ID as a parent.
Add Your Family Name: Enter your family name when prompted (e.g., "The Smith Family").
Add Children: Tap "Add Child" to create profiles for each of your children.

Share Login Codes: Give each child their unique 6-character login code so they can access their account.
