Acceptance of Terms
By using KidFocus, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these terms and all applicable laws and regulations.
Family Account
Parents are responsible for managing their family accounts and ensuring appropriate use of the app by their children.
User Responsibilities
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information and for all activities that occur under your account.
1. Description of Service
KidFocus is a family task management application designed to help parents and children build better habits together. The service includes:
- Task creation and assignment tools
- Progress tracking and reward systems
- Focus timer functionality
- Family dashboard and analytics
- Cloud synchronization across devices
2. Eligibility and Account Requirements
Age Requirements: KidFocus is designed for families with children ages 5-15. Parents must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
Account Creation: Parents must sign in using Apple ID to create an account. Children access the app using a 6-character login code provided by the parent.
Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and login codes. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.
3. Subscription and Payment Terms
Free Features: Basic task management features are available free of charge.
Premium Subscription: Additional features may require a paid subscription. Subscriptions are billed through the App Store and are subject to Apple's payment terms.
Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage subscriptions in your App Store account settings.
Refunds: Refund requests must be submitted through Apple's refund process. We do not process refunds directly.
4. User Conduct and Responsibilities
You agree to use KidFocus only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:
- Use the service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
- Violate any laws in your jurisdiction
- Transmit any viruses, malware, or harmful code
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the service
- Interfere with or disrupt the service or servers
- Create inappropriate or offensive content
5. Intellectual Property Rights
Our Rights: The KidFocus app, including its design, features, and content, is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. All rights are reserved.
Your Content: You retain ownership of any content you create within the app (tasks, notes, etc.). By using the service, you grant us a license to store and process this content to provide the service.
6. Privacy and Data Protection
Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your information. By using KidFocus, you consent to our privacy practices as described in the Privacy Policy.
7. Service Availability and Modifications
Availability: We strive to maintain service availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The service may be unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or unforeseen circumstances.
Modifications: We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the service at any time, with or without notice.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, KidFocus and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from your use of the service.
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless KidFocus, its developers, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the service or violation of these Terms.
10. Termination
By You: You may stop using the service at any time by deleting the app or your account.
By Us: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the service if you violate these Terms or engage in any activity that we deem harmful to the service or other users.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting the updated terms on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
12. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Hokfam Ltd operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
