1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the KidFocus mobile application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

KidFocus is a family task management application designed to help parents and children build better habits together. The App provides features including:

• Task creation and management
• Progress tracking and analytics
• Focus timer functionality
• Reward system and point tracking
• Family dashboard and management
• Cloud synchronization

3. User Accounts and Registration

3.1 Account Creation

To use certain features of the App, you must create an account using Apple Sign In. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information.

3.2 Age Requirements

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. For users under 18, parental consent is required. Parents are responsible for supervising their children's use of the App.

3.3 Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

3.4 Account Deletion

You may delete your account at any time through the App settings. Account deletion is permanent and will result in the removal of all your data, including:

• Your profile information
• All tasks and activities
• Progress data and achievements
• If you are a parent, all child accounts and their data

Once your account is deleted, it cannot be recovered. You will need to create a new account if you wish to use the App again.

4. Subscription Services

4.1 Premium Features

KidFocus offers premium features through subscription plans. Subscription details are available in the App and are subject to change with notice.

4.2 Billing and Payment

All payments are processed through the Apple App Store. By purchasing a subscription, you authorize Apple to charge your payment method for the subscription fee.

4.3 Subscription Terms

• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
• You can cancel subscriptions through your Apple ID account settings
• No refunds are provided for unused portions of subscription periods
• Subscription prices may change with 30 days' notice

4.4 Free Trial

We may offer free trials for premium features. Free trials automatically convert to paid subscriptions unless cancelled before the trial period ends.

5. Acceptable Use

5.1 Prohibited Activities

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the App's functionality
• Share your account credentials with others
• Create inappropriate or harmful content
• Use the App to harass, abuse, or harm others

5.2 Content Guidelines

When creating tasks or content in the App, you must ensure all content is appropriate for children and families. We reserve the right to remove inappropriate content.

6. Privacy and Data Protection

Your privacy is important to us. Our collection and use of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

7. Intellectual Property

7.1 App Ownership

KidFocus and all related content, features, and functionality are owned by us and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

7.2 User Content

You retain ownership of content you create in the App. By using the App, you grant us a license to store and process your content to provide the service.

8. Disclaimers and Limitations

8.1 Service Availability

We strive to provide reliable service but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.

8.2 Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.

9. Termination

9.1 Termination by You

You may stop using the App at any time. Cancelling your subscription will terminate access to premium features.

9.2 Termination by Us

We may terminate or suspend your account if you violate these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the App or by email. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where our company is located, without regard to conflict of law principles.
